Move started off great! From the reservation call to the communications up to move date! Dylan called at 8 to let me know he and the other bellhop would be on the way - they arrived a couple of minutes before 9! Dylan introduce himself, was very pleasant and professional, both he and Ian came in looked at items assessed items to be moved..then started moving items right away! Ready and handled it!... this was a bedroom move with misc items - all items with the exception of my bed frame was on the truck a little by 9:30! . Then they hit a slight bump with tools... Dylan orchestrated through this bump and bit of a time stealer... but assured me they would handle it and they did! Dylan and Ian took it all in stride - worked good together through the bump, and they got it done! Moves can be stressful, but this was a great experience. Dylan with support of Ian took the stress out of this move. They were professional, pleasant and deliberate in the care of each item moved! Since this was my first time using Bellhops, they were the face of the company and definitely made a great impression! I would definitely use again and would recommend Bellhops to all!!! Unfortunately due to added financial obligations... I was only able to budget in enough for the move & was not able to make the suggested tip/which I definitely wanted to do...

The movers were great. They were organized and got everything done as efficiently as possible. But I had 2 main issues. First, I was misquoted on the amount of time it would take, and therefore misquoted on the cost. I gave an estimate for the amount of stuff I had and was told it wouldn't take more than 2 hours for 4 people. It ended up taking 3.5 hours, and I had to pay extra for that. Secondly, I was told everything was off the truck when they ended the move. Some bed frame pieces to two of our beds were still under the truck, apparently buried under some blankets. This is where things fell apart and became very frustrating. 1. I called back 45 minutes after the move ended, in order to get someone to check for the pieces. I was told by customer service I would hear back from them at 7 PM (6 hours later). Customer service never reached out. 2. I called back and was told by a different representative that the pieces were found, and that a bellhop would reach out about dropping those pieces off that night, or the next day. No bellhop reached out, that night. 3. I called back, asking for a bellhop to follow up on a time to drop off the pieces. A bellhop reached out and said they would drop off the pieces between 2 pm and 4 pm. They did not show. 4. I messaged at 5:45 pm asking what was going on. He said he must have dialed the wrong number. We rescheduled. He ended up dropping it off at about 7 PM. Overall, it took a day and a half to fix an issue I noticed 45 minutes after they left.
