The Bellhops "Moving Forward" Scholarship

Bellhops has always been in the business of helping people. In keeping with this, we want to give back to the thousands of college students that make up the vast majority of our workforce. Bellhops is proud to award one (1) $10,000 scholarship each year to either a current college student or an incoming freshman pursuing higher education. The Bellhops scholarship contest is held annually to help outstanding students to complete their college education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be either currently enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited undergraduate college or university in 2018.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must agree to Bellhops' official scholarship rules and follow all application instructions.

How To Apply

A valid application shall be comprised of the following: (1) a completed application form; (2) an essay; (3) an academic transcript; and (4) your photo.

  1. Application Form
    Download the scholarship application form here and complete all fields.
  2. Scholarship Contest Essay
    Write a 1000-1250 word essay that explains the importance of your major in today’s society. Winning submissions will give clear details, demonstrate creativity, appropriately cite sources (if necessary), and express the personal thoughts and opinions of the applicant.
  3. Academic Transcript
    Submit a copy of your most recent official academic transcript. (Note: If you are a graduating high school senior, please provide a copy of your high school transcript.)

Essay Requirements

Essays should be written in English.

Essays should be between 1000-1250 words in length.

Essays should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document or a PDF.

Essays should include applicant's name, date submitted, major, and undergraduate institution that applicant attends (or is planning to attend).

Essays should contain a clear thesis and supporting arguments.

Essays must be 100% original work.


Your completed application, essay, and transcript must be submitted before 11:59pm EST on September 15th, 2018. Please send all scholarship pieces to

The winner will be announced on September 25th, 2018 and will be notified via email.
